The Rama Exhibition

The Ancient Grandfather Koa

Calley shown here at her easel in her pop-up studio at Four Seasons Hualai with the work in progress, and colleague and supporter Sue Aronson of Kona.

I am thrilled to say that after nearly three solid months of concentrating on my Hawai’i State Foundation on Culture and the Arts stained glass mural design for Pukalani Elementary School  (link) I am back to work on the Rama painting dedicated to the Ancient and Timeless Forests  ~ Life Force of the Terrestrial World

KEKOA has been carbon dated at over 500 years old, and stands over 130’ tall…a majestic sight to behold.  Imagine that, in days gone by, the forest was filled with grandfather and grandmother trees and many seedlings and keiki (children).  Let us work to bring back the lungs of the terrestrial Earth.
